MyWayv Holding, Inc ("we," "our," or "us") operates a mobile and web-based platform accessible at mywayv.com and through our mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our services.
By using MyWayv, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use of our services.

We collect the following types of information:
Account Information: Name, email address, username, password hash, and profile photo.
Usage Data: Features used, session duration, clicks, navigation paths, and error logs.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system version, browser, and app version.
Communications: Support messages, feedback, survey responses, and in-app messages.
User Content: Files, data, and content you upload or create within the platform.
We do not collect government IDs, social security numbers, biometric data, or financial account credentials.

We use your data solely to provide and improve the MyWayv experience:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
Service Providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, AWS for hosting, Intercom for support), under strict data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to respond to valid governmental requests.
Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of MyWayv, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer. We will notify you in advance.
With Your Consent: Any other sharing requires your explicit opt-in consent.
MyWayv has never sold personal information to third parties and has no plans to do so. Our business model is subscriptions, not advertising or data brokerage.
5. Data Storage & Retention
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States, with backups in geographically distributed AWS regions. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
Retention periods:
Account data: Retained while your account is active; deleted 90 days after account closure
Usage logs: Retained for 12 months, then anonymized or deleted
Payment records: Retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations
Support communications: Retained for 3 years after the last interaction
Backups: Purged on a 30-day rolling basis
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our app. We use four categories of cookies:
Essential: Required for login sessions and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.
Analytics: Used via tools such as Mixpanel and PostHog to understand feature usage. No cross-site tracking.
Preferences: Remember your theme, language, and UI settings.
Marketing: Optional. Used only with your consent to measure campaign effectiveness.
You can manage cookie preferences at any time in Settings → Privacy, or through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect core functionality.

Deletion: Request removal of your personal data (right to be forgotten)

MyWayv is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
